THINGS WE LOVE

Our Favorite Instant Pot Recipes

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday! I hope everyone is hanging in there. We got a lot of requests to share some of our favorite Instant Pot recipes after our Instagram stories this past weekend highlighting the Bucatini Bolognese I made, so here is a list of what we’ve made so far and had success with! If you have others, please share in the comments below!

Chicken Noodle Soup – I’ve made a big batch of this every week for the past three weeks for lunches – it’s that good! https://kristineskitchenblog.com/instant-pot-chicken-noodle-soup-stovetop/

French Dip Sandwiches – Great for a group, not that we’ll be in large groups anytime soon…https://amindfullmom.com/french-dip-sandwiches

Chicken and Potatoes – Another one that’s great for large groups or if you want for leftovers all week! https://ifoodreal.com/instant-pot-chicken-and-potatoes/

Beef Teriyaki – We did this one with some Uncle Ben’s Rice Steamers (ready in 90 seconds) and frozen vegetables. The beef came out SO tender with this thing – my husband is obsessed. http://prettylittleapron.com/instant-pot-beef-teriyaki

Honey Teriyaki Drumsticks – Oh. My. God. This was was incredible. The chicken was falling off the bone. I’ve never even made drumsticks before – and it’s now a go-to for our family dinners! https://www.skinnytaste.com/honey-teriyaki-drumsticks-skillet-or-instant-pot/

Swedish Meatballs – I love making meatballs. We usually do them Italian style, but we wanted to change it up. For this one, all we had was ground pork so we used that instead of a mixture with both beef and pork. I also didn’t make the “panade” – instead I added two slices of bread to a bowl with whole milk, let it soak, and then added that to the meatball mixture. We had a cooking lesson in Italy a few years ago and the instructor taught us that trick – and I’ve made meatballs that way ever since. The winner of this one was the sauce – so good over mashed potatoes. https://www.jessicagavin.com/instant-pot-swedish-meatballs/

Baked Ziti – I haven’t personally made this one but my friend recommended it to me and it’s on my list. Who doesn’t love a good ziti? https://www.thekitchn.com/instant-pot-baked-ziti-265845

Creamy Chicken Pasta – Another that was recommended to me. My mouth is watering just looking at this picture on the website…https://www.brit.co/instant-pot-creamy-chicken-pasta/

Bolognese Sauce – I didn’t have everything this called for so I just used what I had – I’ve made this 2-3 times over the past few weeks. Last week I snuck in chopped zucchini to get some greens in and nobody even noticed. It’s so good. I also like to use the leftovers to make Eggs in Hell for breakfast. (For that, I reheat the sauce in a skillet, crack two eggs in the middle, cook them over easy and then pile it on top of toast…so good.) https://damndelicious.net/2019/10/29/instant-pot-bolognese/

That’s what I’ve got so far! Let me know some of your favorites and I can add them to our list!

XOXO
